Once you see it, you can’t unsee it.

If you find yourself in cycles of being “up” and “down” — at the top of the world or being crushed by it, stop. You’re probably not bipolar or experiencing a mental health crisis. You’re not crazy.

As tempting as it may be in moments to throw up your hands, find the most competent adult in your life, shake their shoulders and say,
“Just, tell me what to do?!” — that won’t help.
