What if it’s not a bad year, but an invitation to do something different?

One week into 2021 and it seems like that 2020 vibe just won’t quit.

Instead of throwing our hands up and claiming this year needs a reboot already, we can accept that it’s not in fact a bad week, month, or year.

It’s life — which has an inordinate amount of trauma associated with it and requires lavish hope to get through. Not just hope that the future will be better, but hope that the present is in fact part of the improvement and healing process.

This hope is hard to come by; it might be the human being’s honeycomb — it must be diligently tended to little by little with each of us doing our part to pollinate and find new sources for raw material.

Perhaps we are dangerously low on hope, in danger like the bees of extinguishing this artful and necessary purpose.
